MAURO MAGELLAN ALBUM OUT IN MAY
5th May sees the release of My Groovy Road, the first solo album by Homemade Sin and Crashers drummer Mauro Magellan.
Solo in the truest interpretation of the word, Mauro wrote or co-wrote all tracks sings and plays a multitude of instruments.
Guest appearances include Dan Baird & Warner E. Hodges (Homemade Sin), Jennifer Desprez, Jimmy Voegeli, Gary Hendrikson, John Wartenweiler (The Crashers), daughter Rachel and multi instrumentalist Ben Strano.
Anyone who knows Mauro will not be surprised that he has delivered the unexpected. Wisely deciding that no one can out rock Homemade Sin, Mauro instead turns his talents a variety of other styles; psychdelic power pop (Groovy Road), horn driven blues (I Could Do Better) and poignant alt country (The One For Me).
QUIREBOYS & REZILLOS NEW DOWNLOAD SINGLES
The Quireboys have released a brand new track in honour of footballing behemoths, Blyth Spartan.
The Conference League giant killers have remarkably made it into the 3rd round of this season's FA Cup and will take on Premiership (sort of) giants, Blackburn Rovers on January 5th. To celebrate the occasion, The Quireboys guitarist and long-term Spartans fan Paul Guerin has co-written 'We're The Famous Blyth Spartans (And We're Going To Wembley)', a track that's being lauded as "the catchiest football anthem since 'Three Lions'".
The Quireboys' 'We're The Famous Blyth Spartans (And We're Going To Wembley)'
is available now for the incredibly wallet-friendly price of 79p and all
proceeds from the record are being donated to the children's charity Make A Wish Foundation.
